April 14: The server was restarted to apply a security patch at 12:57AM.

April 13: Due to a power outage, all American Marvels servers were down from 8:00PM April 12 till 8:00AM April 13.

January 5: The problem with sending e-mail has been fixed. All other services should be functioning properly.  Please contact us if you are experiencing any problems with your web or database services.

January 3: Changes were made to the Mail Servers which was preventing some users from receiving mail.  There is still an issue when sending e-mail from your American Marvels E-Mail account which I am working on.  All other services should be functioning properly.  Please contact us if you are experiencing any problems with your web or database services.

December 29: American Marvels Web and E-Mail servers are scheduled to be transferred to the new hosting service December 30, 2003.  Service interruption should be expected beginning around 10:00AM and lasting until approximately 6:00PM.

Users should submit the following DNS changes to your Domain Naming company:

Primary DNS:        ns1.covad.net
Secondary DNS:    ns2.covad.net

Do not wait until the service interruption time to submit your DNS changes.  You should contact your Domain Naming company with these changes as soon as possible since it can take from 12-48 hours for these changes to become effective.

December 10: The company that provides our Internet hosting services is going out of business. As a result, American Marvels will be transferring to a new Internet hosting service by the end of December.


We will make ever effort to make this transfer seamless for you; however, during this transfer time you may experience an interruption in your web site and e-mail services. We anticipate the transfer to be finished on or about Wednesday, December 31, 2003.
